Last night we experienced some bad weather. There was lightning followed by hail and rain and some wind. The first couple of lightning bolts were close enough to get our attention and hold it. The storm lasted fifteen or twenty minutes. The lights dimmed a couple of times but the power never went off.
The storm brought quick relief from the very high temperature of the last couple of days. I took advantage of the lull in the heat to mow the yard this morning.
