Last night I achieved my first result recording twenty minutes of music from a cassette tape using the program Audacity. The program has lots of controls, so there is lots to learn. I saved the recording in the Audacity format and the WAV format. I didn't record the second side of the tape and I didn't attempt to break each track out into a separate file. Copying music in this manner is a very time consuming process.
