Who Are These People?
... right attitudes and thoughts must precede right practices. (John MacArthur, Truth For Today, 26 November)
Wisdom preserves our lives from human pitfalls, and provides our lives with divine perspective. (Charles R. Swindoll, Wisdom For The Way, p. 335)
Who are these people, these people we elected to govern us? If they aren't part of "We The People," just who are they and what made us think that they would represent our interests in the halls of Congress?

Correction
Be grateful for correction. Don't shun corrective criticism; welcome it as a means for self-improvement. (John MacArthur, Truth For Today, 3 July)
I didn't do any blogging yesterday. Instead I continued to work on my Conger GEDCOM edit project. I also posted several "summaries" to my genealogy blog.
Once in a while I have been using the Facebook chat capability to talk (using my fingers) to some of my relatives. Yesterday cousin Diane, in Florida, and I had a nice visit about the activities surrounding their daughter's college enrollment this fall.

Lessons
We are not yet what we should be, what we can be, or what we will be ... (John MacArthur, Truth For Today, 9 May)
We must constantly be on guard because sometimes we do not know what the lesson was until we have failed the test! (Warren W. Wiersbe, Chapter-By-Chapter Bible Commentary, p. 147)
