Fear
Death is not the biggest fear we have; our biggest fear is taking the risk to be alive and to express what we really are. We have learned to live our lives trying to satisfy other people's demands. We have learned to live by other people's points of view because of our fear of not being accepted.

Pete Carroll - Super Bowl 2014 Winning Coach
Introducing Mr. Dickie's new avatar created with Bitstrips
I was at USC and I had the time of my life there for nine years. We had won on a pretty big scale and set a lot of records. Then I was faced with an opportunity to go to the NFL and leave the best times that I'd ever had. That was the greatest risk I ever took, because I had it going on, I had it made, but this was just an extraordinary opportunity to compete and accomplish something when the stakes were even higher and the challenges were even greater.(Pete Carroll in Secrets by Rhonda Byrne, p. 102-3)

Risk
Taking a risk to do something new today just might be fun.
What have you got to lose?
... realize the importance of having something to do upon arising each morning.
