Any article about the Tisher family that I extracted from a piece by Mrs. Fedorchak was published in The Navigator of the Monroe County Ohio Genealogical Society.

I went for a walk in the neighborhood yesterday. It was hot enough to be somewhat unpleasant. A teenage boy, who jumped the fence on the deadend of 76th Avenue to get into our area, was walking around carrying a brick and acting like he was going to throw it at a smaller boy who came over the fence with him. I never like seeing kids with rocks or bricks in their hands because of the many incidents where someone has thrown one through the windows of our houses.

Yesterday it was warm enough to go out walking. I walked to the pharmacy and took a one-lap walk in the neighborhood. Others were out too. I was able to get caught up on some of the news. I found out that the winter hasn't been kind to several of our neighbors.

Last night I enjoyed watching the fourth, and last episode of "Faces of America: Know Thyself" on PBS. Host and producer, Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr. investigated the use of DNA testing in extending ones knowledge of their family tree.

Yesterday I didn't post anything to my blogs. For the last several days Facebook hasn't picked up my Google blogs to post to the FB notes.

I went to the computer club meeting. Bob gave an interesting talk about how to capture and convert video from the Internet. His PowerPoint slide show was very professional and impressive.

I removed some of the snow from the large azalea near the front porch. I'm afraid it will no longer be large in the spring. It looks like the weight of the snow did a lot of damage. When I was younger and in better health I probably would have removed the snow at the same time we cleaned the driveway and sidewalk. The cherry trees around the Tidal Basin were damaged by the weight of the snow.
