Quality Of Life

The quality of our life isn't measured by our degrees or possessions but by our behavior.  (Casey and Vanceburg, The Promise Of A New Day, 23 July)

On this day I will choose a project I have not devoted my entire attention to and attend to it.  (Eric V. Copage, Black Pearls, 3 August)

Despair can seem the only realistic response to problems that are too deeply rooted or long-standing.  (Larsen and Hegarty, Believing In Myself, 5 June)

It would be a great thing to die knowing that we had never in our lives transgressed the rules of honor and of honesty in the race of life.  (William Barclay, The Letters To Timothy, p. 242)
