Who's Paying Attention?

Beware the temptation to meddle.

... when we lean on our own understanding ... we get into trouble. (Steve Case, Everything Counts, 29 January)

No one's paying attention to what has angered you, but you. (Mike Magee, M.D., The Book Of Choices, p. 86)

After all is said and done, more is said than done. (Anonymous, in The Book Of Choices by Mike Magee, M.D., p. 147)

******

Yesterday after a walk in the neighborhood we stayed outside working in the flowerbeds. Melva removed the remaining leaves from the one near the kitchen door. I used the pruning shears to cut off last year's dead growth in three in the backyard. I was glad I'd sharpened the shears the last time I had access to the grind stone next door. We stopped before we finished bagging up all of the debris.
