Ways to Cripple the Government


  • Fail to nominate people to fill key leadership positions
  • Move career agency leaders into positions outside their skill set
  • Appoint cabinet members who are unqualified or who hold views against the mission of the agency they will lead
  • Shutdown or restrict access to agency websites
  • Cut or eliminate budgets for agencies whose mission includes policing
  • Fail to bring Bills to the floor of the House or Senate
  • Force votes on Bills without allowing time to read and debate said Bills
  • Say one thing, then do another (lie)
  • Make promises you have no intention of fulfilling
  • Place people in positions of responsibility who can't get security clearances
