Thank you for mentioning my blog. The Duomo photo was pure fluke. I was in Milan, working, for less than 24 hours.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I had checked into my hotel, I jumped in a cab and sped down to the Duomo - as far as it is possible to speed anywhere in Milan with the city's bumper-to-bumper traffic!
I arrived just before sunset when the Cathedral's facade was that unbelievable colour...
Seconds after taking the picture, the sun slipped behind the buildings in the Piazza del Duomo and everything changed...
